Hiring Standards

H&R Transport is always looking for qualified professional drivers to join our team. If you are interested, please review the following list to ensure that you qualify:

Minimum 21 years of age.

Clean abstract and safety record.

Positive attitude and appearance.

Minimum 3 year verifiable Tractor Trailer driving experience and proven ability in the mountains.

Driver supplies own load locks, safety vest and steel boots.

After an initial interview, screening and record checks, approved candidates will be invited to attend a 3 day orientation in one of our training centers, conveniently located in Lethbridge, Alberta (for the west) and Mississauga, Ontario (for the east).

Owner Operator Teams Fast Approved

We provide:

Canada miles paid at $1.05 - $1.11.

USA - All miles at $1.07.

Teams are paid additional .06 cents per mile.

Fuel subsidy cap $0.42 per litre.

Paid licensing/tolls/bridge crossings

Paid picks/deliveries.

Paid meat inspections

Insurance = 4% of gross revenue.

Fuel/toll cards provided.

Paid lumpers.

Paid Weekly. Hourly Rate of $35.

$1000 Sign on bonus. NO paint code.

Paid quarterly safety bonus of $350.
